Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to oversee complete installation projects in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will interpret drawings, delegate tasks, install and test equipment, and ensure quality at the job site.

You will lead technicians and assistants, maintain paperwork, and train crew members while adhering to fire protection codes and company safety standards. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting project drawings for installation.
• Ability to delegate tasks to fitters and assistants.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems installation and testing.
• Valid state driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lead and train junior staff.
• Ability to read and follow codes and regulations.
• Record-keeping and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret installation requirements from project drawings.
• Delegate tasks to crew to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire suppression equipment on site.
• Update daily installation progress notes on job drawings.
• Maintain materials on site and for minor fabrication.
• Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel.
• Complete and maintain all paperwork.
• Maintain vehicle and tools per company policy.
• Use hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power tools.
