Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Foreman in Texas to oversee the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will manage projects, supervise technicians and fitters, and ensure flawless execution on site.

The role requires leadership, knowledge of fire protection codes, and the ability to read project drawings while coordinating with the Fire Sprinkler Manager.

Qualifications

• Leading capacity and site supervision of sprinkler crews.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and installation details.
• Experience delegating tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret installation requirements from project drawings.
• Delegate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit projects.
• Follow plans and communicate design changes as needed at site.
• Maintain daily installation progress notes and site paperwork.
• Instruct and train helpers and apprentices on installation basics.
• Maintain tools and vehicle in good condition.
