Job summary

Summit Fire & Security seeks inspectors to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision. This role emphasizes NFPA code adherence and accurate reporting of deficiencies.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of inspection experience, strong math and problem-solving skills, and the ability to train others. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience inspecting fire protection systems required.
• 5+ years' experience preferred.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes and related components.
• Record and report deficiencies to Summit Fire & Security and customers.
• Communicate with internal and external customers as well as offsite monitoring companies professionally.
• Operate tools for inspections (detectors, backflow, pumps).
• Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled.
• On-call status required by location to handle emergencies.
