Job description

This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection and life safety systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients' facilities, occupants, and assets. This position will service the Cincinnati / Dayton market.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform inspections and testing on fire protection and life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and suppression systems.
  2. Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and local and state fire codes.
  3. Accurately document inspection findings, deficiencies, and recommendations in compliance reports.
  4. Communicate inspection results to clients and provide guidance on corrective actions.
  5. Work with service technicians and team members to schedule repairs and maintenance.
  6. Stay informed about changes in fire safety regulations, technology, and industry best practices.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of fire sprinkler and/or suppression system experience.
  2. Knowledge of NFPA standards for inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
  3. Proficiency with test equipment, including sensitivity testers, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communication devices.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  6. Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
  7. Adherence to the company's Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Safety Policy.
  8. English language proficiency.
  9. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
