Job Title: Fire Alarm System Inspector

Salary Range: $74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:
As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek licensed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspectors to inspect and test fire alarm systems, ensuring they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. You will also perform basic sprinkler inspections, adjust or repair malfunctioning systems, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Schedule fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections.
2. Test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
3. Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing.
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs.
5. Advise customers of test and inspection results.
6. Maintain excellent communication with Area Coordinator regarding inspections.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Position Details

• Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly.
• Responsible for meeting service calls efficiently.
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers.
• Use maps and Google Maps for scheduling.

Customer Service

• Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff.
• Document service calls thoroughly.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Apple iPad.
• Ability to work M-F, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with flexibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder.
• Electrical/low voltage certification or construction background is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel: 100%, remote work.
