Job Title: Fire Alarm Systems Inspector

Salary: $74,000 - $104,000 per year

Job Summary: As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. Positions are available for licensed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspectors. Your duties include inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA standards, repairing systems as necessary, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We seek a dependable, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform inspections on fire alarm and sprinkler systems
• Test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems
• Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing
• Repair systems or inform the Service Department of customer needs
• Inform customers of test and inspection results
• Maintain excellent communication with Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
• Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

Position Details

• Full-time, 40+ hours weekly
• Meet service calls efficiently
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers
• Use maps and Google Maps for scheduling

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff
• Document service calls thoroughly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic proficiency with Apple iPad
• Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and be flexible
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder
• Electrical/low voltage certification or construction background is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• Travel required, remote work environment
