Job Title:

Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire sprinkler system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors to inspect and test fire sprinkler systems, ensuring they meet NFPA standards. You will also adjust or repair malfunctioning systems and perform basic inspections. We are looking for a dependable, self-starting individual with a positive attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Schedule fire sprinkler system inspections
2. Test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems
3. Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing
4. Repair systems if necessary or notify the Service Department of customer needs
5. Communicate inspection results to customers
6. Maintain excellent communication with Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Meet service calls efficiently
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly
• Use maps and Google Maps for scheduling

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls from customers and office staff
• Keep detailed documentation of service calls
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Apple/Android tablets
• Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use an 8-ft ladder
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Travel required; remote work
