Job Title:

Fire Suppression Systems Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire suppression systems inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. The role requires a professional, state-licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector. Responsibilities include inspecting and testing fire systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards, adjusting or repairing malfunctioning systems, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We seek a dependable, self-starting individual with a positive attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and perform fire system inspections.
2. Test and inspect fire suppression systems.
3. Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing.
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs.
5. Advise customers on test and inspection results.
6. Maintain excellent communication with Area Coordinator regarding inspections, scheduling, etc.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

• Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly.
• Responsible for efficiently meeting service calls.
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers.
• Use maps and Google Maps effectively for scheduling.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff.
• Document service calls thoroughly.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Apple/Android tablets.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder.
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel required 100%, remote work.
