Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Colorado to sell Fire Alarm products and services to current and new clients. You will build relationships, identify prospects, and follow up on leads to grow territory.

The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, demonstrating products, and maintaining satisfaction through ongoing communication. A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related experience is required; NICET I+ preferred; MS Office proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or 3+ years related experience.
• NICET I or above preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products/services.
• Demonstrates Fire Alarm products based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Keeps existing and previous customers informed of new products and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and relationships.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
