Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore in Wisconsin seeks a Fire Restoration Technician to monitor and complete restoration tasks, including drying, demolition and pack-out of contents. You will prepare documentation for insurance claims and explain steps to customers on-site.

You will load equipment, follow company processes with quality control, perform fire/smoke repair, and coordinate with supervisors to adjust drying plans based on meter readings, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the restoration or construction industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Good problem solving and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of disaster restoration industry.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience entering data via tablet or mobile device.
• Punctual with neat uniform.
• FSRT or OCT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load equipment and supplies for each job and arrive on site.
• Explain processes and next steps to customers on-site.
• Complete jobs per company processes with quality control.
• Perform fire/smoke repair, water extraction, and light construction as directed.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Obtain customer signatures and request payments when appropriate.
