Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Fire Technician to join our safety-focused team. The role covers service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment at customer sites.

You will complete inspection documentation, perform safety tests, and collaborate with technicians to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and relevant regulations. A valid driver's license, driving record, and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least one year of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
• Associate degree, technical or military training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perfoms service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Completes documentation for inspection and repair and obtains customer signature for invoicing.
• Conducts detailed visual inspections and functional tests and reports deficiencies.
• Pre-job, job update and post-job completion briefs.
• Assists with stocking and loading equipment and pulling orders.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Learns to operate a wide range of safety equipment.
