Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations for fire protection projects. You will supervise journeymen, mechanics and apprentices, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to design, budget and schedule.

Strong leadership and coordination with management, staff, customers and vendors are essential. Ideal candidates have extensive fire protection experience, a proven track record in field supervision, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial fire protection supervision and 10+ years hands-on fire protection trade work or equivalent
• Proficiency in fire protection field supervision
• Strong safety standards and organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge of fire protection system installation

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire protection field manpower to meet design, budget and schedule goals
• Manage day-to-day field personnel across jobs to ensure quality and productivity
• Ensure proper documentation of changes and issues; communicate with team lead
• Maintain safety and incident reporting procedures and escalate as needed
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling and engineering functions as required
