Job summary

Cosco Fire Protection in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Fire Protection Service Department Manager to drive service revenue growth and operational execution. You will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and inspectors, align sales strategy with the Branch Manager, and ensure inspections, emergency calls, and repairs meet code and quality standards.

Strong background in fire alarm systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum (7-10+ years preferred) experience in Fire Protection with emphasis in fire alarm, sales and service.
• Strong understanding of NFPA, IBC and IFC Codes as they apply to Fire Protection Industry.
• NICET Certified Fire Alarm Systems applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.
• Previous inspections or fire alarm sales experience a plus.
• Notifier product experience a plus.
• Service Trade or other service inspection/work order platform experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and lead the everyday sales and operational activities of the Service Department.
• Formulate and develop sales goals, plans and procedures for the service department; align with Branch Manager.
• Execute assigned sales activities.
• Manage margin and costs on all service-related jobs.
• Develop and nurture new customer relationships to expand Cosco's client base.
• Review proposals and contracts for content and accuracy to protect margin.
• Develop and train sales and field leadership on maintaining relationships and providing technical support.
• Ensure customer service meets company standards to maximize retention.
• Serve as a member of the Branch Manager's leadership team.
