Job summary

Cosco Fire Protection in San Diego, CA is seeking a results-driven Sales Rep experienced in fire sprinkler industry sales. You will drive service department sales, develop goals, implement strategies, and expand the customer base while ensuring profitable pricing and high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of sales experience in fire protection, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to manage a territory with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably with fire protection products and systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated sales techniques.
• Ability to manage a territory with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills with sales achievements.
• Self-motivated with strong client service focus.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
• Understanding of codes as they apply to fire protection systems is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.
• Five to seven years' experience in similar environments is preferred.
• Compensation includes base plus commission; eligible for vehicle or car allowance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the sales activities of the Service Department.
• Formulate and develop sales goals, plans and procedures for the service department and implement strategies.
• Execute assigned sales activities to meet profitability objectives.
• Maintain pricing and customer service to remain competitive and profitable.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through quotes and proactive support.
• Ensure proposals and contracts are processed for timely client billing.
• Seek out new customers to expand Cosco Fire Protection's base.
• Provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction meets company standards.
