Job summary

Atlantic Constructors seeks a dynamic Fire Protection Sales Manager to grow our Central Virginia and Hampton Roads business. The role combines technical fire protection knowledge with client-facing sales to expand the customer base and differentiate our services.

You will estimate and propose fire alarm and fire sprinkler projects, build relationships with general contractors, building owners, facility managers, and AHJs, and manage bids from pre-construction through award.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the fire protection industry, including construction or service sales.
• 1+ years of estimating or pre-construction experience.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities for inspection, service, and construction contracts.
• Develop relationships with general contractors, building owners, facility managers, and AHJs.
• Conduct site visits and needs assessments to determine client requirements.
• Prepare and present proposals tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM software.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
• Represent the company at networking events, pre-bid meetings, and industry trade shows.
• Review RFPs and construction documents for scope, specifications, and general conditions.
• Perform takeoffs and prepare cost estimates for fire alarm and fire sprinkler inspection contracts and projects.
