Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee design and construction of commercial sprinkler systems.

You will review plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role requires 3+ years of Fire Protection PM experience on commercial sites, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Procore and BIM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; or equivalent PM experience on commercial sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with BIM and Procore project management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with project teams, customers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Oversee field construction to ensure work aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, purchasing, CAD/BIM and client personnel.
• Develop and maintain construction plan and schedule; scope quotes and subcontracts.
• Monitor manpower, materials, deliveries; mentor site leadership for on-time execution.
• Prepare budgets, reports, and cash flow analyses; provide senior management updates.
• Identify scope changes, price them, and issue change orders to customers.
• Assist with on-site quality control and safety procedures; manage RFIs and RFPs.
• Manage Change Order process and budget revisions; review sprinkler system designs.
