Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Estimator to deliver complete bids for complex projects in the Richmond, VA area. You will review plans, generate accurate takeoffs, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive, compliant proposals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large fire protection construction, 1–2 years in estimating, and strong NFPA code familiarity. The role requires on-site site visits and teamwork across trades.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience on large fire protection construction projects.
1-2+ years in estimating/pre-construction work.
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes (13/14/20/24).
Ability to layout fire protection systems for bids.

Responsibilities

Review construction documents and bid instructions.
Prepare takeoffs and budgets for bids on assigned projects.
Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotes to cover all scopes.
Assist in bid strategy development and pre-bid/site visits.
