Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate multifaceted fire protection projects. You will serve as the primary liaison with contractors and owners, review drawings, coordinate schedules, and manage budgets to meet project goals.

Responsibilities include handling change orders, RFIs, and closeout documents, ensuring safety compliance, meeting with AHJs and design professionals, and guiding the team to timely, profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET III ITM Water-based systems and/or NICET Level IV Fire Alarm preferred.
• Five years of industry experience required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, contract drawings and specs to determine installation methods.
• Generate proposals for change orders, RFIs, ASIs and MCRs.
• Determine labor requirements and prepare schedules, tracking changes.
• Order and track material, equipment and tools per design/contract needs.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with the budget.
• Ensure safety standards and SFP policies are followed.
• Meet with AHJs, contractors, owners, architects and design professionals.
• Assist with closeout documents including OMs and as-built drawings.
