Job summary

Northstar Fire Protection of Texas, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to lead the construction of Fire Protection systems across diverse settings, including commercial and healthcare facilities.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with general contractors, review bid documents, and ensure customer satisfaction from design through commissioning. The role requires strong communication, coordination skills, and the ability to work extended hours as needed to meet project

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, labor, and construction of fire protection systems in hospitals and commercial/industrial buildings.
• Computer literacy with spreadsheets and related software programs.
• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for fire protection systems.
• Attend project jobsite meetings and understand the full scope of work.
• Review and understand project bid documents.
• Assist with change order estimates.
• Coordinate with General contractors and construction managers for scheduling and meetings.
• Submit equipment submittals for approvals.
• Assist accounting staff with billing information.
• Maintain and follow Operations and Maintenance manuals.
• Work with engineering and estimating staff as a team.
• Submittal and retrieve permits from local AHJ.
• Purchasing of selected materials for the project.
• Support field operations.
