Job summary

Western States Fire Protection is seeking a Project Manager to lead fire protection construction from conception to commissioning. You will oversee scheduling, planning, procurement, and field coordination with the site superintendent to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management or fire sprinkler projects, strong communication, and the ability to travel to job sites and perform field audits.

Qualifications

• Construction/engineering or similar degree is required.
• 5+ years in construction management or fire sprinkler design/PM.
• High self-motivation and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies and project phases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as part of field duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements with GC/Owner/Sub Contractors.
• Review construction docs, addenda, RFIs, and schedules.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Forecast changes in cost, schedule, or labor.
• Process change orders and estimates promptly.
• Forecast manpower needs for projects.
• Monitor billings for cash flow and accuracy.
• Track hours and crew mix per project.
• Oversee subcontractor work and field checks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, AHJs.
