Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan and coordinate fire protection projects. You will act as the main contact with contractors and owners, review drawings, prepare change orders, manage labor and schedules, and ensure safety compliance.

Required are strong communication skills, 5 years of industry experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. NICET certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; NICET certifications preferred.
• 5 years of industry experience and ability to lead multiple projects.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude; proficient in English reading/writing.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and relevant project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, contract drawings, specifications to determine installation methods.
• Generate proposals for changes and track labor, schedules and budgets.
• Order and track materials, equipment and tools per design and contract needs.
• Monitor project progress and prepare job records; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Meet with AHJs, contractors, owners and design professionals on progress.
• Ensure safety standards and proper work environment per company policy.
