Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of inspection experience, a HS Diploma, and NICET/state certification. Strong math, problem solving and teamwork are essential for success in this role, with on-site field duties and occasional on-call support.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET and/or state certification required based on location, preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience inspecting fire protection systems required; 5+ years preferred.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
• Record and report deficiencies to SFS and Customers.
• Communicate with internal/external customers professionally.
