Job summary

Summit Fire & Security, a leading provider of fire protection services, seeks Inspectors to perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision. You will ensure NFPA compliance, report deficiencies, and coordinate with customers and monitoring services.

A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally are required. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience with fire protection systems, HS Diploma, and NICET or state

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience inspecting fire protection systems; 5+ years preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; NICET/state certification preferred based on location.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes with knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and components.
• Record and report deficiencies to SFS and customers.
• Coordinate inspections and communicate with customers and offsite monitoring companies.
• Operate inspection tools (heat and smoke detector kit, backflow kit, pump equipment).
• Be on-call as required by location; maintain company vehicle and tools.
