Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern for its Federal Buildings group in Arlington, VA. You will work with a team of engineers to develop and implement fire protection solutions, gaining exposure to design and production tasks across Commercial, Federal, and Mission Critical facilities.

You'll learn to use industry software, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-quality project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology or closely related program
• Completion of at least two years of college coursework
• United States Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Support the design and production of fire sprinkler systems,
• Support special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm and mass notification
• Assist with building/life safety codes analysis under guidance
