Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in the Federal Buildings group.

You'll support senior engineers on design and production of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and life-safety analyses while gaining exposure to CAD tools and project coordination. The role offers hands-on training alongside licensed engineers across markets including Commercial, Federal, and Mission Critical.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology or closely related program
• Completion of at least two years of college coursework
• 3.0 GPA
• Working knowledge of Revit and/or Autocad
• A previous internship related to Fire Protection Engineering or building mechanical systems

• Support the design and production of fire sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm and mass notification, and building/life safety codes analysis
