Jacobs, a global engineering leader, seeks a Fire Protection Engineer with our Federal Team in Arlington, VA to design sprinkler systems, special hazards, fire pumps, and life-safety systems under experienced supervision.

You'll collaborate with professional engineers and designers on challenging buildings projects, gaining exposure to CAD software, data collection, and project coordination. Jacobs offers a hybrid work policy and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Revit & AutoCAD.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Previous internship focused on building mechanical, life saving systems or fire protection engineering.

Responsabilités

• Support federal projects on building systems design and delivery.
• Assist with sprinkler, fire protection, life-safety design under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project coordination and design documentation.
• Gain exposure to CAD software, data collection, and project workflows.
