Accura Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for Fort Worth, TX with duties including design, reviews, QA, and coordination on federal construction projects. The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of experience, and knowledge of UFC 3-600-01 and NFPA standards.

The candidate will liaise with project teams, government personnel, and contractors, performing inspections, acceptance testing, and technical reporting to ensure code compliance and safety.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Fire Protection Engineering experience.
• Knowledge of UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and fire/life safety requirements.
• USACE or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience with QA, commissioning, and acceptance testing of fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with RMS/QCS and federal construction management practices.
• Experience reviewing fire suppression, detection, alarm, and life safety systems.
