Job summary
Shambaugh & Son is actively seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to design, coordinate, and execute fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and specialty projects. Responsibilities include creating code-compliant layouts with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK, performing hydraulic calculations, and developing fabrication drawings and material lists.

Qualifications
- Associate/Technical degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Fire Protection design experience preferred.
- NICET certification preferred.
- AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Hydratec experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of Fire Sprinkler systems.
- Read, analyze and interpret contract documents and construction drawings.
- Plan, coordinate, and make presentations to stakeholders.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis.
- Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK.
- BIM modeling and field surveying responsibilities.
- Coordinate fabrication lists and between trades.
