Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety is seeking a Deficiency Account Executive for the Piper Fire Protection Sarasota, FL branch. You will identify, quote and secure corrective work from inspection reports, while building relationships and driving revenue growth in the Sarasota market.

The role focuses on fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and life safety system compliance, with field experience helpful but not required. You will collaborate with inspection, service and operations teams to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in fire protection or life safety.
• Experience selling deficiency repairs, inspections or service agreements.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and life safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Review reports to identify deficiency repair opportunities.
• Develop and present proposals for corrective work and system upgrades.
• Follow up on quotes and manage opportunities through sales cycle.
• Maintain relationships with building owners, managers and contractors.
• Coordinate with inspectors, technicians, and project managers to ensure project success.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to support sales efforts.
• Keep CRM records up to date and forecast opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and stay informed on industry trends.
• Promote compliance and high levels of customer service.
