Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety Inc. is seeking a motivated Fire Protection Inspection Sales Representative at the Clearwater, FL branch to drive new business through recurring service inspection contracts for fire protection systems in commercial buildings.

You will generate a pipeline through cold calls and networking, conduct site surveys, prepare quotes, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure code-compliant proposals. Commission eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of documented success in B2B sales of services.
• Experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, or Fire Suppression industries preferred.
• Ability to conduct basic on-site visual surveys and understand NFPA codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell recurring service and inspection agreements for commercial fire protection systems.
• Generate a continuous pipeline of new opportunities through cold calling, warm leads, networking, and self-generation.
• Perform building walk-throughs and site assessments to identify code-compliance needs and map out system scopes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate, code-compliant price quotes and contracts.
• Maintain client relationships to facilitate renewals and upsell or cross-sell additional safety services.
• Document all pipeline activity and communications in the internal service software.
