Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead complex fire alarm, security and communications installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities.

You will set up local project offices, define scope, identify risks, allocate resources, and manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include presenting updates to management and customers, ensuring projects close on time and within scope, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PM certification within two years of employment.
• NICET Level II within one year of employment.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Project) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fire alarm, security and communications installation projects across multiple facilities.
• Set up local project offices, define scope, identify risks and allocate resources.
• Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Present project updates to management and customers.
• Ensure projects close on time and within scope.
• Coordinate inception-to-completion activities including design, permits, materials, and installation.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and conduct WIP meetings.
• Follow codes, standards and project specifications.
• Ensure AHJ requirements and SOX procedures are followed.
• Coordinate change orders and improve margins.
