Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project/Service Team Leader to join our culture of growth and results in Pflugerville, TX. You will lead a dynamic field team, oversee installation, testing, and service activities, and partner with the project coordinator to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in building automation or security systems, strong communication, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong technical skills in building automation and security systems.
• Strong programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Self-starter and able to work without supervision.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude; read blueprints.
• Travel to jobsites required; valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security and life-safety systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Operate systems to demonstrate equipment and commission new systems.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on site.
• Identify project risks and assist in controlling costs and deadlines.
• Work with Project Coordinator to plan installations and procedures.
• Mentor and develop team members.
