Job summary

Johnson Controls in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled service technician to diagnose, repair, and install Fire & Life Safety and low voltage systems at customer sites. You will read blueprints, follow manuals, and deliver reliable building system performance.

This on-site role requires physical work, on-call rotation, and strong customer service. A valid driver's license and 4+ years of experience are expected; NICET certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety.
• FAL License.
• Experience reading blueprints and submittals.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and document issues.
• Diagnose problems and repair Fire/Life Safety systems on customer sites.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Provide strong customer service and document work via mobile devices.
• Participate in on-call rotation and mentor others.
