Job summary

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to service and repair fire apparatus equipment, investigate failures, and maintain high safety and service levels.

You will diagnose issues, estimate labor, order parts, and work with foremen to meet production goals. Travel to designated sites may be required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in automotive service or related field.
• Clean driving record; CDL Class B required or to be obtained within six months.
• EVT and ASE Heavy Truck certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper and accurate vehicle diagnosis, services and repairs.
• Provide accurate estimated labor times and complete parts list.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper tool storage.
• Ensure professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
• Participate in morning meetings and plan the day with service staff.
• Maintain and file timely, accurate reports and paperwork.
