Job summary

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair fire apparatus equipment. Travel to customer locations will be required to troubleshoot and install equipment, ensuring systems are in proper working condition.

The role emphasizes dependable, customer-focused service with the ability to work independently, handle pressure, and communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be willing to travel within an assigned territory.
• Must be able to work under pressure and manage service calls.
• Assume responsibility for a high quality repair process.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of all fire apparatus equipment.
• Test and repair equipment by traveling to customer locations.
• Provide troubleshooting and installation of equipment.
• Attend to customer needs as required.
• Confirm that equipment is functional.
• Provide telephone support to troubleshoot with customers.
• Follow through to ensure proper operation after troubleshooting.
