Siemens Smart Building Internship Program seeks interns to gain hands-on experience on HVAC automation and building systems. You will work alongside experienced technicians on job sites in Harleysville, PA, learning installation, programming and service delivery in a real-world environment.

The program emphasizes collaboration with sales and project teams, documentation, and direct customer interaction, with a focus on safety, energy efficiency, and building performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
• Two‑year technical college program in a relevant field is preferred.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for the 10‑week program (May–July or June–August).

Responsibilities

• Spend most time on job sites with Siemens technicians, learning HVAC automation and building systems.
• Rotate through service and project operations to understand installation to maintenance.
• Document service activities and explain system operations to customers.
• Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and installations.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve design discrepancies.
