Siemens in the St. Louis area offers a Fire Alarm Systems Technician Intern program based at our Maryland Heights, MO site.

This internship provides hands-on experience installing, programming, and servicing advanced fire alarm and HVAC automation systems in commercial buildings. You will shadow seasoned technicians, rotate through service operations, and collaborate with engineering and project teams while developing practical skills and professional habits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Students currently enrolled in or recently completed a 2-year technical program in Electro-Mechanical or related field.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May-August).
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Spend most time on job sites with technicians, learning how we install, program, and service fire alarm and HVAC automation systems.
Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and new installations at commercial buildings.
Work with engineering and project teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and support service delivery.
