Job summary

Encore Fire Protection seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector to test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems at customer sites, ensuring code compliance and reliable operation. You will handle scheduled inspections, system checks, and issue resolution, often representing Encore at client properties with professionalism and safety focus.

You will work with Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Simplex, Fire Lite, Gamewell FCi, and Honeywell panels, performing service, testing, and documentation while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical experience preferred.
• Valid electrical license per state requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, OSHA regulations, and fire alarm system theory.

Responsibilities

• Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per NFPA 72 and company standards.
• Identify code deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Respond to emergency calls including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Document activities and parts used; maintain clear customer communication.
