Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our national life safety team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience inspecting, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.

Responsibilities include regular testing and maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, using ServiceTrade for service management, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Service Technician working with commercial and industrial clients.
• CSA Denver Fire Alarm (DENFA/FA2) and NICET is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of various fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.
• Proficient in using ServiceTrade or similar software for service management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial clients to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators.
• Use ServiceTrade for efficient service management, logging all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any fire alarm system malfunctions, resolving the issue promptly to maintain site safety.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Perform regular inspections and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive working environment.
