Qualifications
- 2+ years of Fire/Life Safety systems experience.
- Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
- Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, and commissioning devices.
- Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50–70 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and coordinate with customer representatives to diagnose problems.
- Diagnose issues and perform service and repairs on Fire/Life Safety systems at customer sites.
- Follow troubleshooting procedures and repair equipment using manuals and change notices.
- Service, troubleshoot and install systems from multiple manufacturers including SimplexGrinnell.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and manuals.
- Provide quotes and solutions to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
