Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and life-safety systems with minimal supervision.

You will work with various manufacturers, program and test equipment, document work orders, and stay current with codes and standards. Requires NICET Level 1 or higher, a HS diploma, 2 years in Fire Life Safety, and ability to travel up to 90% locally.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of high school or equivalent and NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification.
• At least 2 years in Fire Life Safety or related field.
• Proficient with industry software and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
