Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Austin, TX is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems with minimal supervision.

The role requires knowledge of fire alarm codes, hands-on experience with test equipment, and the ability to travel locally up to 90%.

You will document work orders, use Field Service Lightning, and uphold safety policies while delivering high-quality life-safety services to customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm, required.
• 2 years of professional computer skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Repair or replace damaged components such as FACP, power supply and initiating devices.
• Program/ configure fire alarm systems and test equipment.
• Document work orders and ensure accurate reporting.
