Summit Fire & Security seeks a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and repair fire alarm and security systems with minimal supervision. The role requires traveling locally and adhering to safety policies while using test equipment to diagnose faults and replace components.

The candidate should have 2 years in the Fire Life Safety industry, 2 years of computer skills, and the ability to read codes and standards. NICET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm, required.
• 2 years of professional computer skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Program and test fire alarm systems and components.
• Communicate with customers and monitoring companies in a professional manner.
• Maintain documentation and follow safety policies.
