Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems across multiple sites. You will handle components, test equipment, and software programs while maintaining safety standards and clear documentation.

Travel to local sites is required, with on-call duties as needed. Experience in fire life safety and NICET/certification is preferred; Candidates should have a valid driver's license and strong English

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English effectively.
• NICET or state-specific certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Operate tools and test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Follow safety programs and document work orders accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers and monitoring companies.
• Stay updated on latest codes and standards through training.
