Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm and life safety systems. You will diagnose faults, repair components, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include using test equipment, programming, and documenting work orders while traveling locally up to 90%. A High School diploma and NICET Level 1 or equivalent are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Use test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Follow safety policies and document work orders.
• Travel locally up to 90% as required.
