Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in the United States is seeking a Low Voltage Specialties Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair low voltage, networks, access control, A/V, and security systems, with minimal supervision.

The position requires a WA 06 Limited Energy Electrical License and offers preferred consideration for NICET, CTS, or related certifications; travel up to 90% locally is expected.

Qualifications

• WA 06 Limited Energy Electrical License is required.
• NICET, CTS, manufacturer or state specific certification preferred.
• 2 years low voltage experience in networks, A/V, access control and security systems required.
• 2 years professional computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot low voltage systems and components.
• Programing and software knowledge for network equipment, A/V, access control and security systems.
• Troubleshoot to identify faults in networks, A/V, access control and security.
• Complete documentation on work orders and use Field Service Lightning for tracking.
• Maintain safety compliance and participate in toolbox talks.
• Travel up to 90% locally as required.
