Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Low Voltage Specialties Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair low voltage, networks, access control, A/V, and security systems with minimal supervision.

The role requires WA 06 Limited Energy Electrical License and preferred NICET/CFAT certifications. On-call duties may apply; a bonus incentive exists for achieving certifications after meeting experience/testing qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• WA 06 Limited Energy Electrical License required.
• NICET, CTS, manufacturer or state specific certification, preferred.
• 2 years low voltage experience, specifically in networks, A/V, access control and security systems required.
• 2 years of professional computer skills, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install and test low voltage systems and repair components.
• Troubleshoot networks, A/V, access control and security systems.
• Document work orders and use Field Service Lightning.
• Travel locally up to 90% and maintain safety policies.
