Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate fire alarm installation projects, serving as the main contact with contractors and owners. You will lead multi-project efforts, manage schedules, and ensure safety and compliance across sites.

The role requires strong communication in English, a minimum of five years of industry experience, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications while coordinating with AHJs and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET certifications preferred.
• 5 years industry experience required.
• Strong math skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, contract drawings, and specifications to determine installation methods.
• Generate proposals for change orders, and RFIs, ASIs and MCRs as assigned.
• Determine labor requirements and prepare schedules; track changes.
• Order and track materials, equipment, and tools based on design and contract needs.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with budget; prepare job records.
