Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all aspects of fire alarm, air sampling equipment, BDA, and related systems, including subcontractor management. The role requires coordinating with customers and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

You will assist in design, BOM, and scheduling, work with field operations, order materials, and support estimating and change orders.

Qualifications

NICET certification preferred.
Experience in large-scale hi-tech fire alarm projects.
Design and layout experience preferred.
Estimating and job costing experience preferred.
Experience with VESDA and BDA systems preferred.
Experience with General Contractors.
Experience in building teams and assessing technician ability.
OSHA 30 required.
Experience in high paced, large construction projects.
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the work including Fire Alarm, Air Sampling, BDA and subcontractor management.
Communicate project status with customers and internal teams.
Develop and execute strategies to meet schedules and milestones.
Assist with design, bill of materials, and scheduling.
Collaborate with field Superintendents and other Project Managers for project needs.
Order materials and equipment for projects.
Assist in estimating, change orders, and project durations as requested.
Fulfill client documentation requirements.
Other duties as required.
