Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all aspects of fire alarm projects, air sampling equipment, BDA, and related systems. The role includes coordinating with subcontractors and managing project communications with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include scheduling strategies, design assistance, BOM and procurement, and collaboration with field superintendents and other PMs. OSHA 30 is required for this fast-paced, onsite role.

Qualifications

NICET certification preferred.
Experience in large scale and hi-tech fire alarm projects preferred.
Design and layout experience preferred.
Estimating and job costing experience preferred.
Experience with VESDA and BDA systems preferred.
Experience in working with General Contractors preferred.
OSHA 30 required.
Experience in high paced, large construction projects.
Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Fire Alarm, Air Sampling, BDA and related systems, plus subcontractor management.
Communicate project status with customers and internal teams.
Develop and execute strategies to meet schedule milestones.
Assist with design, bill of materials, and scheduling.
Coordinate with field Superintendents and other PMs for project needs.
Order materials and equipment.
Assist in estimating, change orders, and project durations.
Fulfill client documentation requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
